Rapid Response Service

We are all familiar with the chaos and stress that is associated with a hospital stay. It seems that sometimes the only thing more stressful with having a loved one in the hospital, is getting them home. This frustration is, quite frequently, shared with the caring discharge planners at the hospital as well. So what can we do to resolve this problem? Enter: Home Instead Senior Care.

Working in close collaboration with our local hospitals, we have developed a Rapid Response Service. This service is quite simple, but so extremely important!

With our Rapid Response, Home Instead is constantly in an on-call mode for discharge planners. A discharge planner can call Home Instead up 30 minutes before a patient is discharged from the hospital and we are committed to getting a CAREGiver there to pick them up, take them home, and help them settle in. We can continue to go in and visit the client for as long as they would like.

Who is Home Instead, and what makes their CAREGivers so important in this process? We hire CAREGivers to stimulate, encourage and assist Seniors so they can improve their quality of life and remain independent while staying in their homes, where ever they call home, for a longer period of time. We are changing the lives of Seniors and their families.

We have begun this service with our good friends at Memorial Hospital in Modesto and will soon begin at other hospitals in the area.
